Tomato Egg Drop Soup
This Chinese Tomato Egg Drop Soup is prepared sans chicken stock or corn starch, yet it’s tasty, healthy and can be made in just 15 minutes. What’s more, it tastes better than what you get at restaurants!

Ingredients
- 100 gms Tomatoes (small size)
- 5 gms Garlic cloves
- 25 gms Onion (large)
- 1 Egg white
- Salt to taste
- 2 1/2 gms Coriander Leaves (finely chopped)
- Water as required
- 1/2 tsp Lime Juice
Instructions
- Blanch tomatoes and remove the skin. Then make its puree in a blender.
- Heat 1/2 tsp of oil in a pot. Add finely chopped garlic and onion. Sauté for some time.
- Now, add the pureed tomato and some water to make soup.
- Add salt as per taste and bring it to boil.
- Beat the egg white in a bowl and pour into the boiling soup. Keep stirring it continuously.
- Serve it hot with drizzle of lime juice. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
