Easy-to-cook Tomato Chutney

Ingredients
- 3 medium-sized Tomatoes
- 2 Green Chillies
- 2 tsp Tamarind pulp
- 1 tsp Chana Dal
- 1 tsp Coriander Seeds
- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 1 Kashmiri Red Chilli
- 1 Onion (finely chopped)
- 2 cloves of garlic (finely chopped)
- 1 tsp Ginger (finely chopped)
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1/4 tsp Mustard seeds
- 6 Curry leaves
- 1/2 tsp Oil
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp Coriander Leaves
- 1 tsp Moong Dal
Instructions
- Blanch tomatoes in boiling water for 2-5 mins, peel the tomatoes and chop it finely.
- Dry roast chana dal, moong dal, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, kashmiri red chilli and then grind them together to a powder consistency.
- In a pan heat oil, once the oil is hot put mustard seeds and curry leaves. Then add finely chopped ginger and garlic, and saute it. Add chopped onions to it.
- Once onions are cooked put turmeric powder, roasted spice powder and salt. Add chopped tomatoes and cook well.
- Further add tamarind pulp and mix well. Cook it for 2 -3 minutes and garnish it with coriander leaves before serving.
