Let's prepare Moong Dal Appum
Moong Dal Appam is one of the healthiest options for weight loss. Besides this, it also boosts your energy levels. You can either savour them for breakfast or lunch!

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Moong Dal
- 1/2 cup Onion (finely chopped)
- 1/2 cup Tomato (finely chopped)
- 1/2 cup Bottle Gourd (grated)
- 2 tsp Capsicum (chopped)
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1 Green Chilli
- 1 tsp Oil
- Salt to taste
- Water as required
Instructions
- Soak moong dal in water for 1-2 hours. Grind the soaked moong dal with green chillies into smooth paste.
- Mix all the vegetables in the mixture followed by salt and turmeric powder. Mix well.
- Add water if required to get liquid consistency. Grease the appum pan with oil and heat.
- Pour the mixture in to appum pan. Cook the appums from both the side till it turns golden brown.

Serve hot with green chutney.
