Ingredients
- 1 big Tomato
- 1.5 cup Water
- 2 tsp Tamarind Water
- 1/4 tsp Jaggery
- Salt to taste
- A pinch of Haldi Powder
- A pinch of Hing Powder
- Few Coriander Leaves
Rasam Powder
- 1 whole Dry Red Chili Powder
- 1 tsp Coriander Seeds
- 1/4 tsp Jeera
- 1/4 tsp Mustard seeds
- 1/2 tsp Oil

Instructions
- Boil the tomato with 1/2 cup water for 5-10 minutes on a low flame till they become soft. Bring down from the flame.
- Add 1 cup water and mash slightly. Do not blend it in a mixer, Strain the tomato puree & keep aside.
- Sauté all the rasam powder ingredients on a low flame & after cooling powder it finely. Add salt, jaggery and haldi to tomato puree and boil.
- Add rasam powder & hing, cook for 1-2 minutes. Remove it from the flame.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
