Patra Ni Macchi is a Parsi-style steamed fish preparation, smeared in coriander chutney and wrapped in banana leaf. It is usually served at weddings, but you can always treat your guests at home. 
PS: If you like the taste of coconut, you can use it instead of coriander!

    Ingredients
    
                - 1 small Silver Pomfret
- 2 tbsp Green Coriander (chopped)
- 1 no. of Green Chilli
- 1 tsp Ginger
- 1 tsp Lime Juice
- Salt to taste
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric
- 1/4 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp Oil

                - Clean and gut the fish, give 2 deep incisions on its belly
- Rub salt, turmeric and red chilli powder. Smear it well. Keep the fish aside
- Grind green chillies, ginger, garlic and coriander into smooth paste (chutney), add lime juice. Mix thoroughly.
- Marinate with fish with the green chutney for 30 mins
- Carefully wrap the fish in a banana leaf smeared with oil. Cover fully. You can use aluminium foil also
- Boil enough water in a deep vessel or idli maker. Place the fish on a sieve and over boiling water. Make sure that the water should be boiling.
- Cover it and steam it for 4-5 minutes or till cooked.
- Take the fish out. Place it on the plate and gently uncover it.
