Here’s something different for vegetarians – a low-calorie and nutrient-packed Chickpeas soup!

Ingredients
- 15 gms Chickpeas (raw)
- 1/4 tsp Cumin powder
- 10 gms Onion (chopped)
- 2 inch Celery Sticks (piece)
- 1/2 tsp Lemon Juice
- 10 gms Tomatoes
- 2-3 cloves of garlic
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil / regular oil
- Water as required

Instructions
- Soak the chickpeas for 3-4 hours, pressure cook and keep them aside
- In a saucepan, take olive oil or regular oil and sauté the garlic. Once it’s golden add chopped onions, tomatoes and celery
- Cover it with a lid and let it cook till soft
- Add cooked chickpeas and water to soup consistency and let it simmer
- Add cumin powder and lemon juice. Serve it hot
